Here is a bit of an introduction to the theme of this month’s program from the artists, Judy Ginsberg and Robert Hall:
Child’s Play is a delightful collection of four sets of piano duets by four of the greatest classical French composers: Debussy, Ravel, Fauré, and Bizet. The program will be accompanied by projections of a specially created visual for each selection as well as each movement being preceded by a descriptive poem written for the show. While the original compositions were all written for piano four hands, they have all attained later fame as orchestral arrangements.
