About the Artists

Isabelle Kanz is a Franco-Ontarian pianist and music educator from Orléans, ON. She has a Master of Music degree in piano performance and a Bachelor of Music Summa Cum Laude from the University of Ottawa’s School of Music where she studied with Dr. Leopoldo Erice and Mauro Bertoli. She was awarded the uOttawa admission scholarship for her graduate studies. She has performed in masterclasses for artists such as Winston Choi and Philip Chiu and participated in Orford Musique masterclasses with David Jalbert and Evelyne Brancart. A dedicated teacher, she teaches private piano lessons at MIFO in Orléans and in various east end elementary schools.

Jenine Evans is an emerging pianist and experienced piano teacher from Ottawa, Ontario. Jenine completed an MMus in Collaborative Piano Performance at the University of Montreal in 2024 under the tutelage of Francis Perron and Liz Upchurch. She also studied opera repertoire with Robin Wheeler, and chamber music with Jean-Eudes Vaillancourt. Prior to her graduate studies, Jenine completed a BMus in Piano Performance at the University of Ottawa in 2021. She studied solo piano with Leopoldo Erice and Mauro Bertoli, and collaborative piano with Julien LeBlanc and Frédéric Lacroix. Jenine has refined her musicianship through the Barachois Summer Music Academy in Moncton, New Brunswick, as well as masterclasses with Roberto Plano in Rovinj, Croatia and Bardonecchia, Italy. Jenine is also a passionate piano teacher with a studio of pianists of all ages and levels.

All of our concerts are held at Kanata United Church, 33 Leacock Drive Kanata ON. Our venue offers limited parking, with street parking
available in the surrounding neighborhood.
The venue is accessible, which includes automatic doors, a dedicated accessible washroom and no stairs required for entry.
