About the Artist

Tong Wang is a Canadian pianist leading projects that explore the role of art in relation to identity, culture, and current social-political issues. As a soloist and chamber musician, Tong has performed with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Red Deer Symphony Orchestra, and ensembles across North America and Europe. She has won awards including the International Chopin Golden Ring Competition, the Canadian Music Competition, and the Queen’s Jubilee Medal of Performing Arts. In 2022, Tong co-founded the Windwood Music Festival in Airdrie, Alberta to connect land and people through classical chamber music. Tong continues to embark on solo and chamber tours across the US, Canada, and Europe, showcasing her dedication to fostering global connections through art.

All of our concerts are held at Kanata United Church, 33 Leacock Drive Kanata ON. Our venue offers limited parking, with street parking
available in the surrounding neighborhood.
The venue is accessible, which includes automatic doors, a dedicated accessible washroom and no stairs required for entry.
